24th of June 2024
10:00, 12:00, Friluftsskolen Open-Air School, Copenhagen
The project gives disabled people the opportunity to participate in an interesting concert with a specially selected program. Participants can become fully involved during the performance and immediately imagine the emotions that classical music triggers in them.
The concert will be divided into three parts. Two sections will convey different kinds of emotions through pieces of classical music. The last one will be summing up. Every participant will receive a sheet of paper and painting supplies and will be asked to create images reflecting the feelings that will be evoked by each part of the concert.
As an additional help for participants, at each part will be shown some example of a
famous painting that they associate with the music being performed and the emotions related to it. In the final part of the concert, the drawings created by the audience serve as inspiration for us to create a musical improvisation based on them.
